To become part of the dialog, take a few moments to review the information provided in the areas at the left.
In the past decade, an increasing body of scientific evidence has shown links between diabetes and depressive disorders.
The Dialogue on Diabetes and Depression is a global programme gathering and assessing the available knowledge - both scientific evidence and clinical experience in many countries of the world.
Members of the program are working to define areas of intervention as well as priorities for research concerning the co-morbidity of depression and diabetes. They are also exploring ways in which the organizations that participate in the programme can work together in the future. This Dialogue explores the interplay of diabetes and depression, and promotes improvements in health care to help individuals both manage their diabetes and live full and satisfying lives.
